One of the best books I’ve ever read was ‘Among The Free’, the final book in the Shadow Children series. It’s a fantastic book about a boy who is making many dangerous risk, and is an illegal third child and is trying to get enough food for third children to be legal again. He has great friends whose names are Matthias, Nina, and Trey. He is a kid who is twelve year’s old and believes ‘If anyone can defeat the Population Police, it’s us. All the books in this amazing series are great but this one to me was the best by far!

What is the order of the books? I read the first one and it was interesting but I do not know which one to read next. I really want to read the rest now! By the way, I found your blog through a post on lizzieh04’s blog. Keep writing!

I’ve read the first two books and all I can say is they’re awesome! Thank you for the review or I never would have thought of reading the Shadow Children series. I can’t wait to read the third book!
